Time for video crash course. Let’s talk about footage. Footage is the raw, unedited materials originally recorded by a video camera. The series of footage when edited create a film or motion picture. So, the more footage we have, the better chance we get to come up with a good, edited film clip.
Our team have recognized the need to do pre-wedding videos. More than the fact that it is great to capture stories about how you met, it’s also makes great footage to be inserted in the same-day edited videos and wedding trailers. A same-day edit or wedding trailers that includes pre-wedding scenes makes the film clip more attractive and gives directors a lot of room to play to create the perfect feel for the couple in it. It puts emphasis on the couple and their stories without making it look like a documentary of their event. You could say that prewedding footage adds that “drama” and romance, which I personally love.
We tagged along on Kenny and Tere’s pre-wedding photo shoot and captured some scenes of their chemistry together. We then set up a session for a short scene (the one on the balcony overlooking the pool). We took all that and inserted it into their same-day edit.
The result got me squealing with excitement. This is the joy, guys and gals. This is the joy, right here - when all the things I recorded in my video camera come together like one romantic movie clip. Of course, this is also because the couple is so romantic! Wouldn’t you think so?
